From the centre of the village, past the church on your right, past Eyam Hall on your right & the village stocks on your left, after Eyam Country Store Fruit & Veg shop turn right onto Hawkhill Road. Straight up the hill past the museum on your left & public car park on your right. As the roads bends to the right, follow the lane, The Nook, on your left. Parking is available on the drive, second house on the left, Hillcrest. Just make sure you leave room for our cars too! If you find yourself at the Youth Hostel you have gone too far! ​Bus Routes: Sheffield to Eyam No 65 Travel South Yorkshire - Chesterfield to Eyam No 66 ​Trains: The nearest rail stations are Grindleford and Hathersage ​Driving: ​From the centre of Sheffield: Follow A625 southwards to Calver (about 12 miles). Turn right at the lights onto A623 for half a mile through Stoney Middleton, and ¾ of a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep hill into Eyam. From Derby: Follow A6 north through Matlock and on to Bakewell. In Bakewell town centre turn right on A619 for ¾ of a mile and turn left on B6001. Continue for 3½ miles to Calver. Turn left at the lights onto A623 for half a mile through Stoney Middleton, and ¾ of a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep hill into Eyam. Travelling North on M1: Leave at Junction 29. Follow A617 to Chesterfield, then A619 (signposted Chapel-en-le-Frith) for 8½ miles to Baslow. Take the A623 to Calver. Continue straight on at the lights for half a mile through Stoney Middleton and ¾ of a mile beyond the village turn right up the steep hill into Eyam. From the centre of Manchester: Follow A6 southwards through Stockport, Hazel Grove, Disley for nearly 20 miles. Shortly beyond the Chapel-en-le-Frith by-pass (dual carriageway) turn left onto the A623. Follow A623 through Sparrowpit and Peak Forest for 9 miles. The road descends into the wooded Stoney Middleton Dale. Turn left up the steep hill into Eyam.

Memorial Cottage, Church Street, Eyam, S32 5QH is located on the main Church Street, opposite the rectory & the church centre & in between the school & church on the opposite side of the road. Directions – S32 5QH should find the cottage, but if not, from the A623 road, look for the signs to Eyam up The Dale, turn left & the cottage is approximately 300m on your left hand side.
