Our quirky little romantic Peak District cottage in Eyam has our signature style & does exactly what it says on the tin – Original artwork by local artists, antique & upcycled furniture & those all important details that make the difference to your stay & one to remember.
Cottage - a small house, typically one in the country
From Church Street, you walk through the heavy old door into a cosy living room with a modern twist, comfy chairs, window seat, TV, wifi & reading nook with “honesty bar” & a large original stone fireplace. The kitchen is to the rear, fully fitted with wooden units, granite worktops & pine scrubbed table & church chairs. There is everything you would need for your self catering holiday (including dish washer & washer/dryer)
Retreat - a quiet or secluded place
From the kitchen, through the stable door takes you to the courtyard where you’ll find table & chairs perfect for alfresco dining or a G&T in the sunshine. There is a BBQ & firepit on the top “yarden” area too.
Stairs from the lounge take you up to the spacious mezzanine style master bedroom at the front of the cottage with open banisters. Antique furniture, another original (non working) fireplace & a large window seat perfect for reading or people watching.
Yarden - a blend of yard and garden
The single bedroom is accessed from the main bedroom & is located at the back of the cottage overlooking the yarden. A single bed & storage, this is the cutest little space for friends, children, granny or storage. The modern shower room is accessed through the main bedroom too with high quality fittings with a traditional look.
